Shipping
Nothing we sell sits in a warehouse. Each piece is printed, embroidered or cut and sewn after you order it, then shipped from the production facility closest to you. That adds a few days at the start and saves a great deal of waste at the end.
1. Processing time
Orders are put into production within 24 hours of payment. Production itself takes:
- Printed garments — 2 to 5 business days
- Embroidered garments, caps and bags — 3 to 6 business days
- All-over print and cut-and-sew items — 3 to 7 business days
Shipping time is counted on top of production time. During launches and peak periods (late November through December) production can run a little longer; we say so on the site when it does.
2. Delivery estimates
These are estimates from the day your order ships, not from the day you place it. Add the production time above for the total.
- European Union — 3 to 7 business days
- Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro — 5 to 12 business days
- United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway — 4 to 9 business days
- United States and Canada — 3 to 8 business days
- Rest of world — 7 to 20 business days
Carriers occasionally miss these windows for reasons nobody controls — weather, customs backlogs, strikes, a public holiday you and we both forgot about. An estimate is an estimate. If your parcel is meaningfully late, write to us and we will chase it.
3. Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and the size of your order. You see the exact amount before you pay — there are no charges added afterwards.
4. Where we ship from
We work with a print-on-demand fulfilment partner with facilities in several regions. Your order is routed automatically to the facility best placed to make and deliver it. Most European orders are produced in the EU. This means:
- The return address on your parcel is the production facility, not us. Do not send returns to it. See our Returns & refunds policy.
- An order containing several items may occasionally arrive in more than one parcel, at no extra cost to you.
5. Customs, duties and import taxes
Orders delivered within the European Union from our EU facility carry no additional customs charges.
Orders delivered outside the European Union — including to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and all other non-EU destinations — may be subject to import duties, VAT or customs handling fees charged by the destination country. These are set by your government, not by us, they are not included in the price you pay at checkout, and they are payable by you as the recipient.
We cannot predict these amounts, and we cannot mark parcels as gifts or declare a value lower than what you paid. If a parcel is refused at customs and returned to us, we will refund the goods but not the shipping.
6. Tracking
You receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. Tracking can take 24 to 48 hours to show its first scan — a link that shows nothing on day one is normal and not a reason to worry.
If you have not received a shipping confirmation and the production window above has passed, email info@salvatoremotti.com with your order number.
7. Addresses
Please check your delivery address carefully before you pay. We can usually correct an address in the first few hours, before the order enters production — email us immediately if you spot a mistake. Once an order is in production we cannot change it.
Parcels returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be reshipped once you cover the new shipping cost, or refunded for the value of the goods.
8. Lost or damaged parcels
If your parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we will resend or refund the order at our cost. Claims made after that window can no longer be filed with the carrier. Details are in our Returns & refunds policy.
9. Questions
Email info@salvatoremotti.com with your order number and we will look into it.
